It's not even like we send the Tributes out in our outfits, we just put them into whatever drab survival gear they're given and send them out the door with a wave and a bonne chance. And while we're doing so we miss ALL THE GOOD CORNUCOPIA PARTIES! I expect you lovelies in the Capitol to be in regular contact please. We get a raw feed in the Stockyards, but it's just not the same. I'll be back to join in the fun just as soon as I'm able. |

Offerings this year ran the full gamut from drab to dazzling, with things made particularly fascinating by the addition of a dozen new faces to our fabulously fashionable family! To keep things civil (I know, I know, but occasionally one must submit to the pressures of decorum, however powerfully it goes against one's nature) I shant by naming any names, but I'm sure we can collectively recognize those new faces who pulled their weight and those who sank like particularly gauche rocks. ( Now, on to the fun! ) |

Please imagine me prancing around throwing confetti and gushing selflessly about your good fortune instead of sitting here alone figuring out what I'm going to do with another year of soot-covered Tributes at the bottom of the chain. Roxie, I know this will pain you in particular but I'm going to have to insist we collectively give Nero the cold shoulder as punishment for his unforgivable abandonment. | 10:25 pm | 12; Urrrrrrgggggghhhhh my post-finale hangovers are always pretty epic but I think I topped myself this time. Oh my god even writing EVERY KEYSTROKE HURTS. I blame D2 for that horrendous basalt vodka disaster. That'll teach me to get so colonial with my celebratory libations. Thank god I managed to wrangle a 3 pm appointment for a full blood alcohol transfusion or I may have missed the big victory party! And then I'd have to kill myself like that wretched five boy. Oh yes and also CONGRATULATIONS to everyone at One kisses all around mwah mwah mwah. |

| 2:20 pm | 10; Well, I must say that I've been horribly disappointed that the Quarter Quell hasn't even had a single instance of my most favourite part of the Games: betrayal most foul. Everyone's been so tediously honourable and whatnot, it's enough to make you just retch. On the plus side, it would seem that we're finally about to see some properly broken alliances! Two teams of two makes it seem at least likely that we'll have some imminent backstabbing! I'm hoping that vicious One girl lives up to our reputation by taking down her District mate... |
